Mental health coverage is not always the same as medical coverage and information provided by your insurance company is not a guarantee of payment.  Clients are responsible for all fees for services and for late cancellation fees.

Important questions to ask about your mental health insurance coverage:

• Do I need a physician’s referral?

• Do I have to see an in-network mental health provider?

• What is my coverage for an out-of-network provider?

• Do I need pre-authorization for my first visit?

• How do I get pre-authorization?

• How many sessions are covered per year?

• Do I have a deductible?

• What is my deductible?

•  How much of my deductible have I met?

• How much is my co-payment per session?
